David spoke at Charlotte City Council to advocate saving this 1908 Fire Station No. 2

When not immersed in his busy law practice, David is frequently invited to speak to civic groups. In his photo-laden presentations, he shares his extensive knowledge of Charlotte's history and geography. Recalling his engineering education, David was championing preservation of the Catawba River watershed before droughts in recent years brought the issue to the attention of the general public.
