David chairs the St. John's Business Exchange, a job-seekers' support group and business exchange network sponsored by St. John's Baptist Church. This ministry of the church meets at 7:15 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the church.

David is a 22-year member of the Midweek Business Connection, a group of 80 business owners and operators who counsel each other on business matters and do business with each other. He has incorporated those principles into the St. John's Business Exchange, which he founded.
